Room Mate Larios

Arrived at your Hotel, water damaged to rooms, moved on to Hotel Lola. Staff helful, rooms excellent at the Lola, and breakfast.

We were unhappy about missing the Hotel Larios, as this was in the centre of Malaga, and a much better area than the Hotel Lola. We had quite a long walk into the centre to get a main meal of the day as Hotel Lola could not supply a Main meal of the day. As we are in the upper 60 age group, these points were important to us.

The Larios is situated in the centre of Malaga, on the main shopping promenade, just off the main square. This is an excellent location. We were initially booked into a twin-bedded room, which the staff switched to a double-bed with no fuss on request. The twin bedroom would have looked out over the street, which would have been great. The downside of the double bedroom was that it was a little smaller in the back of the hotel. Breakfasts were good, the staff was very helpful and overall, we would happily recommend the hotel for a short break. (97848108)

breakfast a little overpriced

In my view, this hotel has the best location in Malaga centre, with great shops, tapas bars and restaurants within minutes walk. The service is faultless; tasteful decor throughout and the staff are very helpful. (99711127)

The hotel has a fantastic location and offers great service and comfortable rooms. It makes a great base for a couple of days stay in Malaga.

Parking is difficult as the location is in a pedestrian location, but they do offer valet parking, which we will probably be use the next time we visit.

It was a bit corporatey!

A great hotel in a fantastic location. Very nice rooms and bathroom. Nice friendly staff. It was annoying that our access cards were de-activated, but I guess sometimes these things happen. (99485584)

The location was absolutely perfect for going out and going shopping. The staff were very helpful and friendly in giving us suggestions of where to go.

Our key cards for the 2nd room was de-activate during our stay and we had to ask to be let in twice, one of these time was late at night which was very inconvenient.
