I would recommend this hotel to anyone for it's comfort and amenities. If you are looking for a central hotel, this is probably not going to suit you but taxis are readily available (97146640)

the check in process was quick and easy for a large group

not very central

The hotel
facilities were rubbish.
Breakfast was awful. Room was filthy,
carpets worn, bath falling apart, shower did not work properly, shower curtain filthy.. need I go on?

Everything was excellenbt except for the fact that there were no lifts. There were supposed to be stair lifts for the first few floors (which we couldn't make work!) but there was nothing down to our rooms in the basement. (97762560)

We were generally satisfied with our stay. However, as is invariably the case, the inconsiderate behaviour of other guests was a downside factor, particularly the slamming of doors at a time when many people are attempting to get to sleep. (99217764)

Staff were professional, efficient and helpful. Facilities looked good although we did not have time to make use of them. Restaurant provided excellent food and service. However the cost was excessive for the quality of the room. (99886891)
Service, cleanliness and staff were excellent.
Facilities and
restaurant were of good quality.

Room needed a refit, carpet had a hole which was covered with duck tape. We have
paid less money for a far superior room in other hotels.

Accomodation is functuonal and comfortable. We booked a table in the restaurant for dinner rather than travel into town. Food was fine but all in our party of 5 did felt it was expensive for what it was. 10% service was added to the bill automatically. Breakfast the following morning was good, self service hot breakfast plus cereals etc. (99436324)
Great location, rooms were as expected, functional and
comfortable
Layout of hotel was confusing at first, finding our way to the
restaurant on the first
evening was fun

We were using the hotel as a base for an activity weekend so it was OK. We were so tired that we didn't want to travel and eat elsewhere but would have done on the 2nd evening. The food wasn't bad - just average and not served hot. (3304761646)

Good wine lins and excellent spa and
pool facilities. The
bar did not serve any real bitter, not even in bottles. This is inexcusable.
Bathroom a bit
old, no double beds and pushing twins together left a step as they were different levels.
Food in resturant was only average. The
bar did not serve any real bitter, not even in bottles. This is inexcusable.

No complaints. I would almost certainly use the hotel again if I needed to stay in the Gloucester area. (3304667782)

Excellent
suite - huge and
comfortable. Good room
service - prompt and fairly
priced (Mercier Rose champagne at £31 was very reasonable).

No minibar/refrigerator in room.
Breakfast expensive (£12).

restaurant menu a bit basic

Wehave stayed in other Ramada Hotels and found them to be totally different to this hotel. Very expensive for a room only basis. The facilities were excellent. Staff need to be supervised and be taught manners! (3304455311)

We enjoyed our stay but felt the staff were un-supervised and not at all
friendly. The hotel was
tired and in need of a complete
refurb. Also not baby
friendly. The rooms did not have a fridge - we only wanted to keep water and have ice but were told this was not
available in all the rooms.

The
food was disgusting. We had a carvery on the saturday night and because the
food was kept under heat lamps it was dried out, same as for
breakfast which was not
included in our price as we thought for our accommodation. Had we known the
breakfast was not
included we woud not have
paid to have it. Eggs - hard, bacon completely dried out.

Have been to this hotel many times, although our last visit was 4 years ago,we noticed that it has now seen better days.tiles were missing in the bathroom, the toilets in the bar didn`t seemed to be cleaned the whole time we were there,no hand dryers were working, one hand towel was left in there for everyone to use,not ideal.
We did enjoy ourselves, mainly because of the leisure facilities available,ie golf, dry slope sking and the swimming pool,it was just a shame the hotel did not live up to our expectations. (2589987)

The
leisure facilities were good, kept the teenagers occupied without having to leave the hotel.

the general maintenance of the hotel, needs a lick of paint.
