The standard of the room did not correspond to the web pictures of the externals of the lodge. Our taxi driver had serious problems finding the way from Heathrow airport to Old Bath Road, inspite of the electronic map sytem in the car and two phone calls to the lodge. (97865610)

The only thing good about this lodge was the staff.

Cleanliness of the room was poor, the bathroom was FILTHY (with clogged tubs and toilets), there was some leftover stuff in the fridge which was never removed (very YUCKY)

would have liked confirmation of whether our room was in the motel or off site. should have found out about surrounding facilites first, such as any places to eat with children-there wasn't any. also that the road system is one way one, very difficult to get back to the motel without having to go outside the village and travel in again. it was in a clean house at the bottom of the road

though it was in a motel, not in a house shared with men. i was a single mum with daughter, did not feel that comfortable. It was too hot, couldn't turn off the radiator. did not realise just how closes the runway was to the room, saw all the planes up close- no sleep at all. walls were paper thin, could here everything in the house.

Although the price was cheap for a single room without ensuite I had not expected it to be quite so shabby. Having said that, the bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels clean. I would use this hotel again if I required a very short one night stopover. The courtesy car back to the airport the next morning was free and this compensated for inadequacies of the room. The room was dismal and uninviting.

We would liked to have known that there was a decent en-suite and decent beds and that we would not have to approach driver asking HIM if he was from Heathrow lodge and some help with heavy suitcases. A price of about £20 would have been fair for facilities offered (97618350)

Staff were helpful Room was basic but fine. Shuttle service to airport was really good. Only slight problem was initial difficulty in getting to the hotel in the first place although, in fairness, I don't really know what you could do to improve that. It could perhaps be a little clearer on the website the exact distance and direction from Heathrow. (97035738)

Overall, I was pleased with the stay and would return in similar circumstances. Staff were helpful and attentive. Although the weather was cold, the heating in the room was very good and I got a good night's sleep. There is a pub directly across the road and it would have been useful to know of its existence for planning refreshments. It met my needs - I was looking for straightforward overnight accommodation near Heathrow so that I could meet a friend arriving on an early morning flight. The taxi shuttle was particularly useful, although I did have to wait in the cold for almost an hour for it to arrive at Heathrow on the night of my arrival. It was fine on departing in the morning, though.

Room was basic, the TV a bit dodgy and I had to share a bathroom - but given the short nature of my stay, this wasn't a problem.

Very frequent overflight of very loud aircraft, but room too hot to have the window closed. No facility for evening meal, but pub across the road did a good meal. Bathroom facility was caravan style, very cramped.

Front desk staff was great, the room was a bit small and the bathroom was almost comedic in size with a shower that overflowed after about 10 seconds and would have spilled out into the room if you made the mistake of washing your hair first. The TV never worked and the buffet breakfast wasn't worth the cost. That being said the transport to the airport was great and it's proximity to local eating and drinking establishments was great. room was very small, shower overflowed after about 10 seconds and was amazingly reminded us of a shower on a boat sizewise, TV didn't work, the buffet breakfast had only muffins and assorted cereals and coffe...at the price charged one would expect something warm to eat.

Because of the impossibility of rest altho I frequent Heathrow very regularly and have need for accomodation,I will never stay there again and I feel sorry for people who have to stay there.I have been active in Heathrow area 10 years.My personal opinion you shouldn't advertise a room when you cant rest cause of the Noise. The price.The Receptionist was very helpful and nice,the room was clean enough altho the communal bathroom very was nice and clean.There is a free shuttle to the Terminals, I really appreciated that.the room was warm (it was winter) so it was adequately heated.

The noise-level was absolutely awful TV's blaring from other rooms,the Room shook from aircraft on a regular basis.Not adequately double-glazed,walls also too thin.You should upgrade your windows and walls.The Noise level makes it impossible to have a proper rest,I was exhausted from an inbound flight from Tokyo so I wasn't at all happy.

This hotel is situated about 10 minutes drive away from Heathrow airport (a shuttle bus is provided to/from the airport). The hotel provides very basic accommodation, but the room we had was very clean and warm and was acceptable for our overnight stay. There is a pub immediately across the road providing good value bar snacks. There is a very nice small pub 100 yards down the road (turn left as you leave the hotel) that also sells bar snacks. If you are just looking for somewhere to stay overnight near Heathrow airport, this hotel is worth checking out. (97418216)

The hotel is very easy to locate and there is not much of processed involved for check-in and check-out.

The housekeeping is not good and they don't replenish the facilities in the room.Due to the remote location of the hotel with limited access to transport facilities the hotel should arrange for it's own besides the Heathrow airport facilities

The staff werent very friendly and made our stay appear an inconvience to them (we were disappointed especially since our stay was booked on xmas eve). Since it was our first time at heathrow we were unsure of the location of the hotel or the airport layout so we didnt know were to meet the shuttle bus. i called numerous times in total 3 times to try and get the exact location of the shuttle bus and was given the same instructions but was still unable to locate where exactly to meet the bus. the final time i rang i told the hotel staff member (it was the same person each time) that perhaps he was giving me the wrong instructions and we were having a miscommunication but he didnt want to accept this and told me blatantly that i was wrong. i also asked him to identify the exact level of the airport to where we should be waiting outside of but he told me he didnt know. finally our only option after an 1.15mins of waiting we decided to take a taxi as it was too late to cancel our booking. Futhermore there was no apology of the miscommunication. The following day was the 25th dec of which we were aware the taxi system would be limited so we requested a taxi from the hotel to be booked by hotel staff for 8am (to leave the hotel at this time) 25dec. We arrived in the lobby arear approx 7.55am and our taxi didnt arrive until 8.20am. if we had known the hotel staff were uninformed about their own city and business we wouldnt have stayed here. it has been the most unpleasant stay of our holiday so far. The room is not sound proof. We did not have enough rest since sound from the top room and the corridor were disturbed our night sleep. The heater in the room did not adequate for the cold weather. If anyone is expect to have a good night rest before a flight, the hotel is not for you. (97827930)
