Staff were very helpful indeed and the general cleanliness of the hotel and service were very good. The location was also excellent.

My room was rather small, though adequate. I generally felt that some areas of the hotel would benifit from redecoration.

Excellent location in Central London, yet it is a quiet location close to Marylebone High St with plenty of local shops/facilities. Staff are customer focused and are attentive and proactive in the right way - A rare quality amongst hotel staff anywhere. Having Freeview Digital TV/widescreen was an unexpected plus, as most hotels still have not bothered to upgrade their cable TV facility. I could review text information services and catch a BBC4 programme I would normally have missed. (97775379)

The facilities were in good repair Digital TV was installed (Freeview) Excellent standard of TV screen. At last! a room with a decent BATH! Rooms were clean, space was adequate.

Cosiness and calm.

Very noisy extractor, hot water is in fact lukewarm, narrow access to bed between two unnecessary bulky pieces of furniture, lack of ventilation when window is closed, very tiny bathroom especially not enough room between toilets seat and sink. Could be hazardous even ;-)

This hotel was very clean and quiet and in a very good location. The staff were very helpful. The breafast, which were included in the price of the room, were very good and the servers were excellent. They also had Wi-fi available, which made it possible to stay in touch with my family in the U.S. It was very apparent that this is a family owed business and they were very concerned about our welfare. 4th floor - Poor lift to 3rd floor - fire exit was not well marked and exits were several floors below. Shower had such a poor flow it was impossible to use Breakfast was very greasy

When booking the hotel, I spoke to the manager, Hal, becuase I am asthmatic and allergic to feathers. He was extremely helpful and even changed the room booking to a room that was larger and airier. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a reasonable hotel in the area and prefers something other than your typical branded hotel. (99240465)

We had to change room as the room allocated on arrival was not as booked (twin instead of king size double), but this was handled quickly and helpfully and we were given a bottle of wine to compensate for the mistake, which was more than I would expect. It's proximity to The London Clinic.

I stayed in a Basic Single. The bathroom - limobing under the wash basin to sit on the loo whilst banging your knee on the basin piping was difficult. Apart from that the room was adequate for 1 night.

room very small seeing we thought we ordered a king size room the bed though large was two singles put together plus getting to the room was very difficult as lift only went to 3rd floor and we were located on the 4th floor steps being very narrow i found it a struggle my partner found it very difficult (99800326)

All the staff I dealt with were polite and heplful. However the room was much smaller than I had been led to believe, the carpet was in need of hoovering, the bathroom courtesy tray had empty boxes which led me to beleive that it needed restocking and the bath shower fitting snib would not retract so that I was forced to shower rather than bathe. Breakfast was adequate. In response to my request that the hotel store my case and handbag so that the room could be made ready for the next guest, I found both case and bag in the hallway where anyone off the street had easy access to both. In all, this was sadly not a happy experience. (99169338)

It was near the hospital in which my husband was a patient.

I was led to be leave by the hotel details that there was a gym, Sauna & other leisure activities, this is very important to me as i travel so much. As it turned these facilities where off sight which maybe ok in the summer but not at this time of the year. One of the main reasons for booking this hotel was the prospective of having somewhere to wind down after very long business days. (99876799)

Very small room which was very hot!

Old and tired décor. Small room (I was informed on registration that I had been upgraded free of charge and on viewing how cramped the room was I dread to think what the size of original room was). There was a strong sickening smell of perfumed air freshener in the bathroom which permeated into the bedroom. (3304790930)

Convenient, comfortable hotel with lovely staff. I live in the country and am not used to traffic noise - on arrival I had been given a room overloking the road (not a main road) and asked if I could have a room at the back. The receptionist was most helpful and moved me to a lovely room away from the road. Bar area very pleasant. Light meals available all day - wished I'd known that before buying a sandwich at the station! Cooked breakfast very good and served at the table (not buffet) by very attentive waitress. Polite helpful staff. Despite a problem with towels not being left in the room and then the door lock being faulty they were very helpful and apologetic sorting things out straight away-all in all a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation and the location is excellent.

We spent less than 24 hours in the hotel and chose it because it was small, with reasonable facilities. I have spent too many nights in large hotels and decided that I would avoid them in future. I would use the hotel again and next time would ask what arrangements they have for earlier breakfasts, etc. (2164229)

Meal times were awkward for us. We would have liked to have dined in the hotel, but our appointments did not permit it.

This hotel seems to be very apealing to women, as most of the guests were female, (wife picked this one out from the description). A family run business in extremely nice part of London, the room was a very good value for the price. Our street front room on the 3rd floor presented very little noise issues, as the street is very quiet after dark. The hotel is just a few blocks from some great medium priced cafes, and just a block or so from the Tube. The best shopping in London is within walking distance. (2236172)
