Taxi to town coat around £7.00. Free parking at hotel, with excellent bus service from outside the hotel - every 15 mins. Very relaxed and friendly place to stay. When we arrivd there was nobody there to let us in, so we went onto town for a few hours until the owners arrived back at the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Forres House. The double room we had was spacious and the onsuite bathroom was decent. Julie the owner was great, she gave us great advice on the city. She is also a great cook, the full english breakfast was so filling, we didn't need to eat lunch! She would always come in and chat to everyone in the breakfast room. (99196691)

Big rooms and the friendly owners.

On the second day. Rooms not as clean and no clean towels. Felt that cleanliness should have been the same on the second as the first day.

My wife and I were most impressed by the welcome that we were given by the owners and their staff, they were most helpfull and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Forres to anyone wishing to stay in a family atmosphere in Bath. The Forres House B&B was excellent. Ideal for a comfortable & affordable weekend break. The accommodation was very clean and well kept. The room was nice and cosy. Some people might find it a bit small but it was fine for us. The staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was nice. The location was good too but just a bit far to walk into Bath. The room was clean & comfortable. There was a TV & Video in the room, as well as lots of videos to choose from. There were also some added extras, such as an ironing board & iron, extra blankets, sewing basket)which you don't find in other hotels. The hostess & her staff made us feel very welcome.

Shower-room was rather small & compact, & there was limited off-road parking (compared to the B&B next door) so we had to park along the road

Was very impressed by the welcome and friendliness of this B&B. I have stayed in various similar places, and would highly recommend this establishment. A minor comment - there's very poor TV reception in Bath generally, and as there's no satellite TV here, that means that there are only 3 channels available. I was impressed that the owners had made the effort to fit each room with a video player and good selection of videos, but if you want lots of live TV it may be better to look for somewhere offering satellite TV. It was very comfortable, and there were some very individual features. It didn't feel like 'chain' accommodation (and it wasn't). The welcome and general service were truly excellent. I would not hesitate to visit again, or to recommend it to others.
