Excellent staff - most welcoming. Quiet and safe surroundings. Highly recommended... quite a gem.

The hotel is very well located in an attractive street away from most of the traffic noise. I would have liked a lighter room, not in the basement. The breakfast is adequate but nothing out of the ordinary. However, the service was good and very friendly. Considering the room we had I think the price was excessive. I would be prepared to stay again but only if I was given a larger room/bathroom. I would recommend this hotel with provisos i.e not inexpensive and one doesn't get a lot for one's money. (97847928)

The room decor was attractive and the bed was comfortable

The room was small but adequate. The bathroom was extremely cramped and a lot of the metal fittings were rusty. Being in the basement made the room very gloomy, even though the sun was shining and there was insufficient lighting. The wallpaper was a little shabby in parts and could do with tidying up.

The location was ideal for visiting our relatives in West Hampstead and for getting to the shops & restaurants in Hampstead. It was also well placed for a variety of tube stations, as long as you are an able walker. The street & the hotel were quiet. We would stay here again. (99941932)

The size of the room was excellent & the facilities i.e bathroom, storage,TV and drink making facilities were better than some we have had. The room was mostly clean - please see note below.

Some of the upholstery in the room was shabby & dirty. It was great to have a sofa, but it and the occasional cushions could have done with a clean.

there was a dead fly on the stair well carpet which stayed there for the duration of my stay. the window banged throughout the night, and there was a loud washing machine which was switched on around 11.30 of the first night of my stay. the so called area to connect to the internet was totally inadequate

Bed was very hard, you could invest in matress covers; ditto new clock radio and Tv, things are getting a little dingy. Breakfast was OK; internet access in lobby was OK (3305460095)
