The stay was short...I would come again. (97730694)

I found that the staff were
pleasant and
helpful...the room was
clean and tidy ..there were plenty of refreshments ie tea,
coffee, water etc.
There was also
air conditioning..
bathroom was
clean too.

No bad points during this visit.
We had to pay for parking at another hotel which I had not been made aware of. There should be some parking concessions made.

Overall quite pleasant but for comment above and the curtains were not properly hung ie were not fixed at outside edge and one end hanging down.
We did report these problems, but they werenot dealt with.
Breakfast was OK but the evening meal was bearly edible!
We only ate in once! (97055235)

Friday morning
breakfast staff very attentive.

The heating was on full blast and radiator thermostat broken off.
If there had not been good

Very adequate hotel for a few nights stay while doing the sights of London. A great location for theatres, Covent Garden, and within walking distance of Euston Station. Also a tube station within 2 mins walk. Consierge very helpful. Would definately use again. (97227933)

Very
clean and a
great breakfast. Bottles of water in room a
nice surprise.

Furniture a bit
old and dated.
Robert from Arnold, GB (Mature couple) 08 November 2007
The hotel was in a good location with friendly and helpful staff and good decor. The only problem was that one of the beds had a very soft mattress (personal preference). With an excellent breakfast you were able to visit sites in the morning without worrying about sustenance! (97791576)

The staff were
friendly and
helpful, the room was large enough and the breakfasts were excellent (good start to touring in the morning).

One of the beds had a very soft mattress so wasn't very
comfortable.
Martin from Swadlincote, GB (Mature couple) 31 October 2007
The stay was generally, good. However, in spite of the room being non-smoking since July, there was still a strong smell of cigarettes. (97632771)

It was
clean, the
bath/
shower room was good. We were able to leave our luggage with the concierge until it was time for our train

The room smelled very strongly of cigarettes. There was a delay in the picture and sound on the TV. We tried to get
breakfast in Dean's Brassiere on the Sunday morning, were told it was full and sent to the
restaurant to be told it was full. We had to INSIST and were then grudgingly served. On the Monday morning, however, things were fine.
Anonymous (Mature couple) 12 October 2007
Staff were efficient and polite. We were able to leave our bag securely at the hotel both before we checked in and the following day prior to our return journey in the evening. Well stocked hospitality tray in the room. Beds comfortable, bathroom/shower clean though showing signs of age. Good location near a choice of eateries and pubs etc. (97544115)

The hotel was
clean and well maintained and the position excellent for our needs.

The
breakfast was
adequate but pretty tasteless.

The hotel is not a very large one, but it is a comfort one. The cleaningness and the
breakfast give me the very deep impression.

No skipper, free or reasonablly charged internet and comb etc. were supplied. These could be supplied at any hotels.

It was very well located for central London. it's compact size and lay-out gave it a comfortable friendly feel. It was good value for money. I will return (99667641)

The staff was very nice and helped me plan days touring while my wife was in conferences. The location is TOPS! This is a great location close to the subway and thus very convienent to all of London. The local area has lots of resturants and shops and just five minutes away and you are in Covent Gardens with hundreds of shops and wonderful resturants.
If you are arriving by Air into Heathrow, the subway from Heathrow via the Picidily Line will take you to Russel Square. I don't know how this could be more convienent.
Arriving at Gatwick, take the Express Train to Victoria Station and walk to the subway station inside Victoria Station. Take the Victorial Line one stop to Green Corner and transfer to the Picidilly Line and take the subway to Russell Square.
When you exit the Russell Square subway station at Russell Square Turn Left out of the station door and walk to Russell Square which is a park. Turn left again and walk two blocks to the hotel. (99342311)

The hotel is neat and tidy. An being an American accustomed to
small European hotel rooms was plesantly surprised by the ample
size of the room and
bath!
Breakfast was good being a English
Breakfast... But we stayed here exactly because we wanted a English hotel so it was as expected. The wireless internet access point is in the center of the hotel. Our room was at the end of the hall so we had intermittant connections with our laptops. If you wish to use you laptop, request a room near the center of the corridor.

I requested a smoking room, as both myself and my partner are smokers. At no stage of the booking process was it declared that the hotel is actually completely non-smoking, this quite obviously affected our stay as we were there for a special occasion and were quite inhibited by this unstated policy. I would have chosen another hotel, had I known. (99509148)

The room was beautifully decorated

The
facilities in the
bathroom were shoddy, the toilet seat came loose and I fell off it. also when i hung a towel on the hook behind the door, the hook came loose.
Anonymous (Group of adult friends) 15 March 2007
I booked 3 x twin rooms for a Birthday weekend for a friend, but there was a vast difference between each room when we arrived. One was a normal twin, one was a larger room (with 1 double and 1 sinlgle bed), but the last room was a single only. We corrected this with the reception staff but the room we were finally given was obviously a single room with 2 single beds (the wardrobe was the giveaway as it was a single!) The staff were helpful with any problems and gave a us discount room error, but overall the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. (99570019)

Good
service - staff very
helpful, offered to flag taxis when needed, luggage secure before check in/out.

Overall very good value for a central london hotel. Nice meals and snacks in the Deans Brasserie. (99802357)

Everything that we needed was there. Just because it was one night, you still expect certain things. We were given a room at the back of the hotel, which was quieter. The
breakfast was extremly good
value. We shall definitely return again.

The glass lift needs to be kept cleaner. More towels in
bathroom.

Location, availability, staff were
helpful &
friendly.

It was expensive for what it was, some of the common areas were really dirty like the glass lift. The heating made a horrendous
noise in the middle of the night. We didn't have dinner as the carvery meat was right next to the
bar where people were smoking, the
breakfast was ok but the
hot food was not very warm!

The accomadation was
adequate for our needs and
central for where we wanted to go.There was a quick response from the staff when we bought thier attention to a problem.

The room was warm after we had turned on the heating but the
bathroom was freezing withb no means to turn on the radiator.Fortunately for us we were only there for one night any more and we would have had to complain which we did in the first room we were allocated which the staff did change us to another room.
