Cleanliness, size and choice of the breakfast and how close it was to the city but not too close

The entrance from the main road was difficult to see straight away so we had to go all the way round again which took about ten fifteen minutes. The stairs to the reception area are quite steep and narrow and although there are lifts they were also small and could not be used late at night.

I thought the accommodation was very clean and inviting. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel to others.

I was disappointed at the short opening hours of the Health Suite. I appreciate I should have checked in advance, but I specifically booked this hotel rather than another one which would actually have been much more convenient for the event I had to be at, solely so I would be able to use the gym and the pool. I had to be at the event at 08:00 on the Saturday morning and as the Health Suite did not open 'til 8:00 I couldn't use it. I was able to scrape in half an hour on Sunday morning but it was very rushed and I had expected it to be open at 06:30 or at least 7:00, as the Health Clubs in London I have used often open at 6:00 a.m. (99887616)

I enjoyed my stay very much, and felt it was good value for money. The reception area and breakfast room were well-presented and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Would be nice to have free parking rather than having to pay £3.50 to park in the hotel car park overnight. (99772996)

The room was nice and clean and the beds are very comfortable! Liked the fact that breakfast was served until 1pm on New Years Day with late check-out!

Booked for New Years Eve, and when I rang the hotel's central booking office originally I was told there was no availability left, however I then went onto another website called priceline which said there was availability so I booked with them instead! There is a pool & sauna/steam room but would be nice to have a jacuzzi as well. At breakfast, the staff were cleaning the tables around us and we had to go and ask them to bring us some coffee as we weren't offered any.

Smart and functional

Shower curtain hanging too far into bath and sticking to me, making showering very unpleasant if not impossible, wrapped in plastic.

The hotel was very clean and the welcoming. The quality of food for breakfast was excellent and there was a wide range of food. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and they provided an efficient service. (99434912)

Size of the bedroom as there was plenty of space. The room was also adequately equipped e.g TV, ironing board etc.

The disco downstairs could be heard and this kept me awake.

Quite a quiet hotel in terms of noise level - must have reasonable sound insulation

Maid service could have been more particular - did she just rinse our coffee cups in the sink? Left prev nights glasses in room.

The location of the hotel was ideal. Just a short walk from the train station (I travelled by rail) and near to the Harbourside. The room was clean and comfortable, although I was disappointed that the TV options available were limited at the time of my stay due to maintenance. Breakfast was very good with the option of a full english (always the best way to start the day) and lighter alternatives of fruit and cereal. The bar area was pleasant with a comfortable relaxed ambience. There was an express check-out available, but luckily I chose to check-out via reception as I would have been overcharged for my breakfast had I not. There was a luggage room available free of charge for us to leave our bags after checking out to allow us to explore the many delights of Bristol before catching our later train home. (99741091)

Convenient location. Good standard of cleanliness. Good breakfast.

I required a smoking room and was told at check-in that I should have requested this at time of booking, which I did. Luckily there was still one available. at check-out the cost of breakfast (£11.95) was added to my bill but this should have been inclusive. The staff were happy to take this cost off though.

Clean comfortable nice bathroom good shower. Breakfast suprisingly good for a chain hotel. Location very convenient for station and town.

The Entrance, we arrived on foot from the station was strange and very off putting. We appeared to enter through the basement.
