positive comments Large room, clean.
negative comments noise, I was above the electronic front door and was woken throughout the night by the noise it made opening and closing. Also some other guests created a lot of noise in the middle of the night and staff did not seem to intervene. There was also no shower curtain.

Very poor - rundown, tired and shabby. Certainly not worth 2* from AA! (99576210)

negative comments Poor quality of decor, DIY shower fittings attached to bath taps, mould in corner, noisy room.

the hotel is in need of decoration i would say as wallpaper was either torn off or scraggy also some paint work was coming away but it just needs modernising really the room i had was clean and tidy bed was comfy breakfast was good it was cooked to order i like that. The bar served me a jack daniels and coke and the coke was flat but the barman offered me another drink but i declined as i only drink j.d but he didnt seem to want to know why the coke was flat and did not investigate the problem was gas needed changing but it was 1035 and he was happy to serve the drink and then tell us it was last orders. We decided to go out from then on to get a drink from elsewhere. positive comments nothing special but adequate
negative comments the bed one of my friends slept in had a leg missing so when he got up off the single bed the bed tipped up also the shower in the morning didnt have any hot water they had to wait for the emersion heater to warm the water up !? in a hotel emersion heater not good when you are in a hurry.

Decent enough, though slightly overpriced, but a good location for parents visiting students, and close to most areas of Bristol. Can't comment on breakfast, as there was a fire alarm at 6.30am for an hour, and someone forgot to give me a wake up call at 8am, as brekkie finished at 8.30am, I missed it. Staff were pleasant enough, and the hotel's nicer on the inside than on the outside. 6 out of 10, but overall not bad. (3304286883)

positive comments Room was quite nice, clean and decent bathroom.
negative comments Fire alarm going off for an hour at 6.30am wasn't the best. Looks a bit shabby from outside.

Good location, parking terrible, water tasted like a chemical cocktail. Very expensive at £128 for a family room for 1 night ! Beer badly kept. Staff not so friendly. First time I have been asked to leave my car keys at reception should I leave the hotel !! (2967731)

positive comments Nothing much.
negative comments Friendliness,cleanliness, cost.

Had I have known that breakfast was only served from 0700-0830, I would not have made the booking. On pointing this out as I checked out, I was told that these times suited their business clients. These times did not suite me, so we missed breakfast. The room cost £83.00, and as breakfast was missed, represented very poor value for money. (2721652)

positive comments Convenient location, and free parking outside.
negative comments The room and public areas needed decorating and looked tired and shabby. Some of the staff found speaking English a challenge. Be more flexible with breakfast times. Carpet in the room was stained and dirty. Wallpaper was in places peeling, and there was a large damp stain in the ceiling.
