The courtesy car service on both arrival and departure was excellent a real bonus when you are tired. The staff were friendly and the rooms/beds were very clean. It was nice to have lovely pure white soft towels, also the best shower I have seen in a long time. Another bonus was the coffee/tea facility.

It would have been nice to have had breakfast served but was not a problem.

I had fall while in the hotel, upstairs there was a small step that you couldnt see clearly due to dark carpet and poor lighting, there needs to be a sign at eye level informing people. I havnt got any problems with my sight and i didnt see it so someone with poor eye sight definately wouldn't see the step in time.

Be aware that there is only a certain amount of parking facilities outside the hotel. The bar is quite pleasant. The staff are friendly, but then I am a smiler and tend to have people smile back at me (you get back what you give out). Be aware that some rooms are not en-suite. The en-suite is small but adequate - shower and toilet, sink in room. Some rooms have not got sufficient hanging space for clothes - ours was fine - a wardrobe with hangers and shelves. Food. It was the worst breakfast I've ever had in a Hotel. The beans (previously warmed up) were cold and looked like they had been on the plate all night. We did not complain as we were leaving straight after breakfast anyway, and did not want any delays to occur. We had read on a web site (after we had booked the room) that food was bad. Therefore we went out for our evening meal and glad we did if the breakfast the next morning was of the same standard.

overall reasonable for shortstay for 1 person with no luggage. As there was no cupboard or a chair in the room, which is totally inconvenient as I had to sit on the bed all the time while in the room, and to hang my suite in the toilet over the shower door.!!! (2816309)
