First impressions I liked the most the
size of the room & the
bathroom.
Barbara from Rickmansworth, GB (Mature couple) 06 January 2008
It was a good comfortable place to stay in the centre of the city The only drawback for us was the reception area my husband having difficulty walking and climbing stairs. The lifts however were very efficient once you had negotiated the entrance stairs. The Vision restaurant attached to the hotel changed hands during our stay and closed, but will no doubt reopen, just enquire before booking. (97976051)

It was
clean and
comfortable right in the
centre of the
City and the staff were
extremely friendly
The name had changed to Days Hotel and this was confusing when locating it. There were stairs to the
reception from the
street and
no where to sit to wait for taxis etc.

I travel regularly to Nottingham. Several times a year and have used a variety of hotels in and around the City. This one has been the best of any experienced. They have a no nonsense approach, easy to book, very friendly staff and good sized rooms, plenty of light and very well kept. The consevatory breakfast room was particulaly fine.
The staff on the desk went out of their way. They even used their internet connection to book me my flight back to Ireland.
Having found them I intend to use them again (97184481)
Easy to book,
easy to find,
central to the
city,
spacious rooms in excellent condition.

Room was dingy.

comfortable.

The hotel is in the centre of town, only a few short steps to restaurants and bars. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The car park was not too far away but quite expensive even with the discount and we were not told that you couldn't pay by card, only cash, which we haven't always got on us. Breakfast was good and everything in the breafast area was clean, which isn't the case in most hotels that we stay. The staff at breakfast were also friendly and helpful which also made a change from the normal hotels. A few more leaflets or information on the surrounding area would have been good although the staff on duty seemed to know most of the things and places that we wanted to visit. (99228704)

Quite

the actual hotel was good value for money the room was lovely but we do feel a bit let down by the staff because of the lack of a friendly welcome it we felt like they didn't like young couples in the hotel (99563795)

On the initial booking by phone we found that the receptionist was extremely helpful with the advice given concerning the directions to the hotel and the local carpark facilities. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Many thanks (99037492)

Room had all the
facilities that we required, everything was very
clean.

The bed and pillows were too hard for a
comfortable nights sleep for us. Decore a
little dark for our liking.

Clanliness of room and hotel.

The receptionists were efficent but not very
friendly or welcoming. When checked out did not ask if we had a
nice stay or even thanked us for staying etc. No smiles.

This hotel was ideal for the purpose of my stay ie;shopping and theatre break, close to all amenities and clean, friendly and efficient. The only thing that spoilt the stay was high levels of noise on the Saturday night that we stayed, this disrupted sleep and I suppose is the downside of being so close to the centre of Nottingham. (3305308346)

the accomadation was
clean,the staff were
friendly and efficient and
location was close to shops, restaurants and theatre
noise levels were very high from bars near the hotel disrupting sleep.maybe better on a week night????

I can't say anything bad at all about my stay at citilodge. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially one man, when we needed directions at 3am in the morning! The room was clean and spacious and bright and the bathroom was good too. It's just a pity i slept through breakfast. (99029964)

There was plenty of room, very
spacious. Normally when you pay budget prices there's about a foot of room between the walls and the bed.

The bed was 2 singles joined together

Rooms were a good
size and
clean too, staff very
helpful, good
central location.

Where to
park was confusing, both local carparks didn't accept the discount ticket I was given. £17.50 for an overnight stay..ouch!

Very good, would definitley stay again here. The location was excellent and we had easy access to the nightlife. Our room was lovely and spacious. It was more than enough for a short stay. (3305248356)

It was very
clean and the room decoration was very bright and
pleasant.

The only problem we had was that there were two matresses put together.

It would have been nice to have known that the traffic wardens are as sharp as tacks in this area it only took them a couple of minutes to pounce on me but i suppose thats my own fault really (3304010155)

i cant think of much really
Andy from Kemsing, United Kingdom;GB (Group of adult friends) 26 October 2005
No complaints and first class accomodation. Only slight fault is the car parking its a little walk and they didnt explain the discount only applies at certain hours so we ended up paying a lot more than £2 which had been indicated. (2889114)

Excellent room and cleanliness unlike many. Staff very efficient and
friendly and
location excellent.

Car
Parking is the only issue and it was not explained that the discount only applies between 5pm and 9am . Then reverts to
standard charge so paid £7 instead of £2 as checked out at 11am and had to walk to the car.
