The bedding was clean

The bed was small and uncomfortable. The bathroom was very small. The furniture was cheap and dated. The remote for the TV was not working. There was bags of dirty laundry in the corridors both when we arrived and when we left the following day.

I booked a night here because i thought as it was so close to kings cross station it would be perfect... had i known what a hovel this hotel was i'd rather have taken a taxi to a hotel further away ! Wouldn't even recommend this hotel to my worst enemy !! (97870017)

Just one minutes walk from Kings cross train station is the only positive thing i can think of about this hotel !!

dirty, stunk of ciggarettes, furniture in the room falling apart, shower door broken, i can't stress enough how dirty this place was !!! Don't ever book a stay at this hotel !!!!!!!!

the receptionist was helpful

Room quality, poor TV, Very small bothroom, bed did not fit straignt against the wall. Room 23 on 3rd floor. Noise from road was terrible, workmen woke me up the next morning working on the scafold outside my room window. I didn't even go to breakfast becuase of the poor standard of the hotel.

We only needed a stop-over for the night but although the staff especially the young man at reception was very pleasant, the bedroom was horrible and stank of cigarette smoke. There was rubbish outside the window on scaffolding and apart from the sheets, which were clean, the rest of the bed clothes were far from pristine! Breakfast was surprisingly fine in a clean environment. (97869267)

The young chap at reception was a real gentleman.Breakfast was surpisingly pleasant in a clean room.

The bedroom was horrible and smelt very badly of cigarette smoke.Although the sheets were spotless, the rest of the bed clothes were ancient and less than pristine! Outside the bedroom window was scaffolding with a lot of rubbish thereon!

The buffet breakfast was adaquate but made poor due to the fact that the fried eggs had obviously been standing for a long time and therefore rubbery. Service in the breakfast room was also poor, as if they could not be bothered. (97099634)

Would you have wheels on your bed on a vinyal floor? Well we did and spent most of the night zooming around the bedroom! No alarm clock or radio and the smallest double bed I have ever seen!( in a room so small the poor cat would be dead!) We had guests in the room above who must of been practising for Riverdance. I asked for a taxi to be booked and was told to catch the bus!!! Enjoyed the breakfast, and the young girl at the desk was very helpfull when I asked for more pillows. (99340655)

Convenience and accessibility to Kings Cross station and the breakfast

Needs better security, showers (a complete shower door and attachment for the hand held shower), more comfortable beds, enough towels (could have used washcloths) and cups to accomodate the number of guests in the room, usable mirrors (like a full length one on the wardrobe).
