Energy saving bulbs, but could do with a better heating/cooling system. Tv system could have been better, with film and wake up call facilites. No TV/radio alarm clock. (97645798)

Friendly, clean, great facilities, very reasonably priced.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Hairs in the bath and the room was very warm. Had to sleep with window open. (January booking). Think energy saving!!!

This was a very pleasing hotel, which i would use again when visiting Bournemouth. Value for money was good for the hotel. the only thing was i had to hang around till 15:00 to check in but i understand whyuu this was. (97966341)

MODERN, GREAT ATMOSPHERE

ROOMS A LITTLE TOO WARM WHEN TRYING TO SLEEP

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in May and were very pleased with everything and hopefully will be staying there again, we arrived early so were able to have the carvery lunch ,I reccommend this if you are there on Sundays.Our room was much larger than most other hotels we have stayed at it had light modern decoration and very clean,We were also very impressed with the leisure facilities with a wonderful pool, Overall we felt we had fantastic value for what we paid. Immaculate;comfortable;everything one would expect.

The hotel has been built without air conditioning kept our window open all times. But it wasn't bought to our attention that you could open the window wider. This was achieved by pressing down the window stay.Watch out for the bar staff, because as a hotel quest you are entitled to 10% of your drinks. This is in the pub only.We only found this out on our second night.The staff are very helpful in reception ,nothing is to much trouble was a very enjoyable weekend. (3305102347)

The room was so hot even though they gave you a fan, which didn't make any difference. It was October but mild.

Excellent pool. We liked the children slots in the pool-we have travelled without children, and we have been miffed at having to share a pool at 7.30pm with noisy children-when we left ours at home!!! There was plenty of time for family swims. Early bird dinner was a great facility. Very good value and child friendly-our six year old liked the korma! Children were thrilled with their goodie bags! Contemporary.

Children had to sleep on a double sofa bed, twin beds would be far better. Room was VERY hot and stuffy and it wasn't particularly warm outside. If we had hot weather the room would have been unbrearable. A fan was provided which we did use.

I stayed here from Wednesday 16 - Sunday 20 August. I have been using Village hotels for a number of years now and can honestly say this was the best one Ive used, probably because it is still relatively new. The room was particularly nice (although hot as usual). The leisure facilities were lovely and the Healthworks were one of the best Ive used although they could do with a relax room for after treatments. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all lovely meals. The location of the hotel was fine, thought we might have a problem with the hospital being so near but didnt hear a thing. The traffic into and out of the town was terrible the entire time of our stay and we never quite worked out if it was just volume of traffic or something else. I would highly recommend this hotel for nice relaxing break. (3304219778)

The room and hotel were clean and tidy, the staff were helpful and the leisure facilities were wonderful .. best facial I've ever had thanks to Rachel in the Healthworks.

My complaint is the same for all Village Hotels that the room is far too hot, although a fan is provided, air conditioning would not go amiss. The serving spoons at the breakfast counter were so hot I burnt my thumb, perhaps they should be put on separate plates or turn the heated lamps down a touch, children could really do themselves some harm if they used them

Cleanliness of hotel and friendlieness of staf

Overall a nice new hotel about 10 mins outside town. Opposite a new hospital on a new small business park. Restaurant okay, breakfast v good value. Not really ideal for a seaside holiday maker, but okay for touring the area. Good value for money. Did not try facilities gym etc, but looked good. Our room was not available when we arrived and we waited about 45 mins. Staff were helpful. Would I go again? Yes, might, but would prefer nearer the town and sea front and would have to be good value price to go here rather than in town. (3304753962)

Small windows - out of town location.

Unaware of the general location of the hotel, ie in an business park. The pub and restaurant were very busy, the pub inparticular on the Friday Lunch time. We had a nice weekend however I would not recommend the hotel for a quiet relaxing weekend - the leisure fascilities were a lot busier than expected - perhaps a victim of its own success. my partner and myself were very impressed with the village hotel it was absolutley fantastic, from the moment we arrived we were impressed, the rooms were amazing, the bar,restaurant etc were great teh leisure club was awesome. it was a totally relaxing friendly atmosphere. we loved it and will definately be going back again soon. great value for money (3304122342)
