The Hotel is very conveniently located to Nottingham Trent University, so ideal for parental visits and also very close to the city centre and Victoria shopping centre. I recently enjoyed an overnight stay whilst visiting my Daughter and attending her Art & Design Exhibition. The park opposite is beautiful, the room I stayed in was very well equipped. modern and clean. The dining room needs a bit of a revamp but overall was clean and although I arrived a little past breakfast cut off time, I was very kindly allowed to have breakfast of my choice, again very adequate. Doors to other rooms a bit noisy

This hotel was good value on a package deal and in a good position for the city centre. A visitors' parking permit made it easy to park in a side road - it was advised to request this beforehand, which we did. If the main building was refurbished and the breakfast improved it would be an excellent venue. (99866258)

The room had obviously recently been redecorated, along with the rest of the building and it and its furnishings were very good.

The hotel contained two buildings. The main building needs refurbishing and as it contains the reception area gives a poor initial impression. The breakfast, although adequate and freshly prepared, was limited and only offered cornflakes as a cereal and no decaffeinated coffee.
