I was pleased with the hotel and staff, especially the young woman at the desk. There was a maintaince man that offered to help with my suitcases. (97114296)

The staff I met were
friendly, very competent and
helpful. I was very happy with the room fridge and kitchen
facilities. The hotel was
clean, and my room was cleaned well everyday!
Breakfast was more than
adequate for me, and the staff there more than
helpful.
Carpet in hallways needs to be replaced.

When we arrived we were told we had no room because of water problems and we were taken to a differerent hotel. Melville said they would pay. The other couple stayed at the belgrow hotel and paid by credit card. We want to be sure that the bill we pay is only for one hotel at a rate 48.00 pounds. thank you Enid Larsen (97254273)

a safe place to sleep

it was ok for one night

sink not working, no space at all,
shared toilet and

After changing to another hotel the accommodation was OK. General stay in London was also OK, except weather. (97036697)
Location of the hotel is excellent

Building, staircases,
toilet,
shower room, room etc. in bad shape. Should have been renovated years ago. Used sheets lying in staircases. Everything is messy and worn.

For the price I would have expected soap, tea, coffee in the room. There was a kettle and a fridge but nothing else. The sink was old and bearly functional and the heating set to full with no control. Having said that room and shared facilities were clean if a little cramped. (97015222)
location
equipment in room
poor.

Not particularly happy at the complete absence of hot running water. Made having a shower after a night out on the town impossible, so did not exactly feel very refreshed. Also, no glasses in the rooms to even get a drink of water. (97756828)

room was very
clean

if the smell is gone, i would have no hesitation in staying at the hotel but i doubt if i will be told of this from any source. (97522893)

cleanliness and quiteness of my room 68 and the staff so kind and
helpful especially the man who cleaned my room so thoroughly.

the smell of the whole place was very sickening and i'm presuming it was the cleaning materials, i had to book into
another hotel as i felt sick when i came in out of the fresh air.

We were left waiting for ages to check in. (while the staff always seem to be arguing in these hotels!!!) there was a kettle provided in the room but no cups or tea and coffee.???? it was fine for an overnight stay and pretty much what I expected, certainly not luxury, but credit where credit is due, it was seemingly very clean. We were unable to get an en-suit room, but the toilet and shower were right outside our door and very spacious and again, clean. although the shower control was back to front (hot was cold and cold was hot!) I dont really think it was worth what we paid, but if it had been a tenner or so less, it would have been about right. (97762236)

it was very
clean
funny creaky noises
outside the window all through the night. no
tea/
coffee in room. and having to go
outside to get to
reception and
breakfast area being in seperate building!

For a solo traveler or couple on leisure, with minimal expectations, the accommodations are smaller than a dorm room but ok. If I was travelling with my family, the room would have been inadequate. (97265888)

The
price is reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The
Kings Cross location is excellent for convenience to the Underground and for Visiting
London. The free WiFi performed well.

The main areas of the hotel are somewhat worn down and shabby. The room has an electric
kettle for
tea but lacks any sort of cup. I
recommend purchasing a room with private bath, though mine had a constantly dripping toilette.

Convenient for
Kings Cross station.
Clean and tidy around hotel.

There was a big mark on the
carpet and the
sink had a crack in it. Also there was no plug in the
sink. The room was
adequate but felt overcharged for the standard of accommodation.

Great location. Staff very friendly and helpful, they upgraded our room. The room was a bit small but very clean. The same applies to the bathroom. The only thing I was not happy about was the small bed. Continental breakfast, enough for me!I would recommend this hotel, I believe it's good value for money. (99020046)

Everything was fine, except from the bed, it was
comfortable but too
small.
