Very impressed with breakfast. Good choice, tasty and plenty of it!! Very comfortable bed.

Room looked 'tired' and furniture was badly marked.

BAsically this is a pub with rooms, but the adjoining Italian Restaurant - which I think is part of the hotel - was execellent with good food ambience and service (97280692)

The hotel was very comfortable and the evening meal and breakfast was very good. Since the smoking ban was brought in, I've noticed that the stale smell you used to get in pub/hotels has now disappeared, which is much more pleasant. On the morning of my departure, there was a roaring fire in the lounge area, which made breakfast that much pleasant. (97370529)

Very friendly and much more personal to stay in a pub/hotel rather than just a hotel, (Travelodge types)

Nothing, I would go there again and recommend it.

The breakfast was ample but the bacon was rather dried up and this was the only hotel on our tour that we had to tick off the day before what we required for breakfast (97181738)

Clean bed and bathroom

good job there wasn't a gale blowing as the window frames looked a bit dodgy and were badly in need of repair.
